This is a full-time position in Bielefeld (remote possible).
YOUR MISSION AT SYNCTIVE
Your primary focus will be on developing standard drivers to connect machines through our hardware and software gateway, as well as data processing and enhancement in the cloud. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in building and managing microservices to deliver value to our existing customers. Specific tasks include:
- Develop and optimize AWS microservices and our Linux-based IoT gateway software.
- Enhance and maintain our DevOps pipeline using GitLab and AWS.
- Support the refinement of our existing IoT and AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Onboard new customers and their machines to our cloud platform.
- Provide support to existing customers for IoT connectivity requests.
THIS MAKES YOU THE PERFECT FIT
- You have professional experience in the IoT and/or Cloud Development area.
- You have an academic degree in Computer Science or a similar course of study.
- You have practical knowledge with some AWS services, preferably AWS Lambda, AWS IoT Core and AWS CloudFormation.
- You have profound knowledge with the Python language or are highly motivated to learn it on and off the job.
- You would love to take on responsibility and develop essential parts of our IoT infrastructure.
- In addition to your passion for IoT technologies you have an affinity towards the machinery industry.
