We are a German early-stage start-up based in Bielefeld focusing on increasing profit margins of returns in eCommerce. Our business idea aims to make returns more sustainable by matching product returns with new orders of the same article and thereby enabling Peer-to-Peer product returns. As Co-Founder and Lead Developer, you will play a crucial role in building our SaaS solution, ensuring smooth integration with various eCommerce platforms, and implementing a user-friendly interface.
Your tasks
- Build product and code, leading by example.
- Shape and manage the entire tech team.
- Challenge and improve the product strategy in close collaboration with customers, aiming to achieve operational excellence.
- Develop and maintain backend architecture for our SaaS solution, ensuring seamless integration with popular eCommerce platforms like Shopify.
- Collaborate with the team to design and optimise the user interface and user experience of our software, ensuring a smooth and intuitive experience for our users.
- Build a backend system that efficiently stores and manages returns and new orders, enabling effective matching of returns and orders for the same product.
- Create a reliable system for generating return labels, automating the process of directing returns to the new buyer, using an anonymized shipping label via QR code.
- Work closely with our team to continuously improve the scalability and performance of the SaaS solution.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and technologies, ensuring our solution remains at the forefront of innovation.
Your profile
- An ambitious, curious and intrinsically motivated person, who is eager to learn and push our tech to the next level.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong passion for digital innovation.
- Proven experience as a skilled full stack developer, with expertise in building and implementing SaaS solutions.
- Strong proficiency in back/ frontend development and experience with eCommerce platform integration via API.
- Expertise in UI/UX design principles, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.
- Knowledge of databases and data management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Fluency in Englisch (written and spoken), speaking German is a plus.
